Hi, Andreas
It's funny because my first comics collection was the Spindelmannen, the Swedish Spider-Man series from 1978 to 1984. I loved them.
Really? So you can read Swedish?
Not really. I was ten when I got my first Spindelmannen (this was the 1978/7 with the Shocker and the Sandmannen). I just watched the pictures and tried find out what the story was.
But when I became about 20 I bought a Swedish dictionary and I translated the 79/8 (Gröna Trollet and Gwen Stacy) with it. I'm a Spider-Man fan since that.
I learnt about 200 words in Swedish from that story as like máste, bara, dig, bli, dej, herregud , honom, jag, lánge, nu, för, ocksá, senare, smált, svara, galen, tillbaka, och, toppen , över, igen, tjejen, död, borde, mej, akta dej . I remember just these now. But I remember the names of the Swedish supervillains. Straffaren, Gamen, Smáltmannen, Sandmannen, Gröna Trollet, Skorpionen, Sjakalen, Varulven. It's all I think.
