Fantom képregények
Farek:
Hello Andreas,
Welcome here at our fan-site. It could be a good chance to learn Hungarian
****************

Hi Andreas
Welcome to the Sleeping-Bag Comics Fan Site
Micho:
--- Idézet ---it would be fun to collect the whole series.(...) I have many friends who would be interested in these rare Phantom comics.

actually it's not an impossible mission... perhaps you will get the full run I have spare issues from Fantom, some of them in near mint condition. Check your PM for the rest!
--- Idézet ---A question
--- Idézet vége ---
The Phantom was absolutely unknown for us... and the funny thing is the Fantom absolutely unknown for the young, present-day comicbook readers of Hungary. (not counting the internet users, who are capable of downloading and reading the HálóZsák's Fantom-scanlations.)
That's why we're making the scanlations... though we know the ghost who walks never dies
Andreas:
--- Idézet ---unfortunately we have no Fantom publications in Hungary for more than a decade thus we had no other choice, we had to make unofficial translations (scanlations) for those hungarian fans, who don't speak english (from the australian Frew scans).
so, all of the HálóZsák's Fantom comics are unofficial, but if you intend to swap official Fantom issues, I'm all for it.

Well, I wish the Hungarian Phantom fans all the best with the scanlations.
I actually have a few Hungarian Fantom books, but it would be fun to collect the whole series. I believe there wasn't so many issues in total... A few years ago I had contact with someone from hungary (maybe even someone from this forum!) but I changed my e-mail address and lost his contact info...
I have Hungarian Fantom No. 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 so I am interested mainly in all other issues. But should anyone have extra copies of these issues I am still interested. I have many friends who would be interested in these rare Phantom comics.
A question: Was the Phantom completely unknown in Hungary before the comic series from the 1990s, or had the Phantom been published in Hungary before, in some way?
Best
/Andreas

Hi Andreas, it's good to see you around... and you're definitely a smart guy as you could register in our forum we are a little community here, who like to read many different comics, of course Phantom comics as well. unfortunately we have no Fantom publications in Hungary for more than a decade thus we had no other choice, we had to make unofficial translations (scanlations) for those hungarian fans, who don't speak english (from the australian Frew scans).
so, all of the HálóZsák's Fantom comics are unofficial, but if you intend to swap official Fantom issues, I'm all for it.
--- Idézet ---It looked great (someone must have spent a lot of time with all those scans, although I could not make them work).
